Vermont by Car

By Car

Vermont features access via interstates I-89 and I-91 and has a well-maintained network of state and local roads and highways.

Tropical Storm Irene Update: While some additional road repairs will be continuing through the summer months, all state highways reopened to traffic by late November 2011.  You may encounter brief delays on sections of Route 107 between Killington and Bethel. Other regular maintenance and re-paving projects will be ongoing throughout the state. For information about current work areas, check the state highways road conditions map or call 511 for information within the state (1-800-429-7623 from out-of-state).  This service has a live operator option.
