Watching nature… fun you can go wild about.

Attending a Vermont summer camp isn't just for the kids anymore.

The Vermont summer camp experience creates memories that last a lifetime and many times starts a lifelong love affair with the state. Now the whole family can enjoy Vermont, participate in activities together and build lasting memories.

Family camping can be experienced at the Common Ground Center in Starksboro, Farm and Wilderness Camp in Plymouth, the Hulbert Family Center in Fairlee, and The Tyler Place in Highgate Springs.

Fun, challenge, excitement and natural beauty are the hallmarks of the Vermont summer Camp experience. Many adults who are long-time visitors to the Green Mountain state can trace their love of the state back to their time at a summer camp.
The Vermont Camp Association
The VCA is an association of owner's, directors, and staff working with organized youth camps. It's members are dedicated to helping parents and kids discover the camp that is right for them in Vermont.
See their Website for a listing of Vermont camps: www.vermontcamps.org
There is no better gift for a child than a summer in Vermont with its mountain air, crisp spring water and lush green forests. Vermont is an ideal place to give your child crackling campfires, starry nights, endless fields for play, and lifetime friendships.

Camps in Vermont serve children from all over the world and provide:

  • Variety- Each camp is unique in philosophy, location, program, facilities and staffing. Experiences range from tennis to horseback riding, to woodworking, to theater and dance, as well as swimming, hiking, etc.
  • Commitment- Vermont's camps are dedicated to providing a quality camping experience and to the health and well-being of each child;
  • Social Development- Making Friends, being a member of a community, developing leadership skills, and independence are all part of the Vermont camping experience.
  • Education- Children have new experiences which they are not likely to have at home or school that promote lifelong learning, enhance recreational skills and enrich their quality of life.

This summer why not consider some time for your child, or your family, at a Vermont summer camp.
