‘Tis the season of love so we posed a simple question to our Fans on Facebook: What do you Love about Vermont? And we are loving the response!!

Take a look at some of these these answers to whet your appetite:           

Bobbie: I love bringing my family to Vermont for vacation every year. Hubby spends a lot of time on his bike, sometimes going no place a bike should. The boys go swimming and boating and for hikes, and Mom gets to indulge in some kayaking. (We visit Tyler Place on Lake Champlain.)

Gregg:  How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. (sorry)
I love the smell of muddy roads and maple in the air.
I love the sounds of laughter at the farmer's markets and the joyous notes of music at the many festivals.
I love the taste of Morse Farm maple syrup, Grafton Cheddar cheese (extra sharp), Adam's Farm apple pies, and many other specialty foods.
I love the outdoor opportunities and burst of color in those few weeks around the beginning of October.
I love the old farmers that taught me so much about life here.
And I love our way of life here and the many people who work to keep Vermont a great place to live and raise a family.

Mike: Nothing Beats a Fresh Vermont Summer Morning. Sun Shining, Birds Chirping, a full day ahead. This is my favorite part of Vermont.

Jace:  I love the mud season in Vermont, because it means that soon everything will be a beautiful green as spring comes forth!

Patty:  What I love about Vermont is the smells of each of the seasons. In spring the smell of maple sap being boiled, in summer the smell of fresh cut grass or hay, in fall the harvest smells of apple pie and boiled dinner and in winter the crisp clean smell of fresh fallen snow.

Michael: Mud Spring is what I miss the MOST!!!!!!

April: Nothing beats the feeling of pride as I show out of state friends around our amazing state. I love being a "tour guide" for the best little state! ♥

David: I love that the dogs' footprints in the house foretell the coming of spring.

Francine: what do I love about Vermont? Oh where can I begin! First of all I am from new jersey and everything about Vermont blows this state away! I visit Vermont at least 2 times a year, once in the fall; the colors of the leaves are the best by far. And once in the winter, for some real snow! The people in Vermont have the best personalities. I am so ready to move to your state!! Basically I love everything about Vermont!!!!

Laura: I love the leaves crunching under my feet in fall, the snow in the winter (and when it finally melts in spring) and that it's never too hot out to go swimming in summer (I never knew there was a such thing till being stuck in a hot southern summer.) I also love Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, Cabot Cheese, Lake Champlain Chocolates, Green Mountain Coffee and Vermont maple everything.
