Located directly on the 95-mile Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, this historic downtown is an outdoor recreation destination in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom region. Hardwick is home to a rich granite quarrying history and its railroad was charged with bringing stone from the quarries to the nearby finishing shops.
