Naulakha Estate Rhododendron Tour

 Dummerston, Vermont
June 5-7, 2026

Naulakha, the estate of author Rudyard Kipling and the site where he wrote “The Jungle Book,” is normally open only to overnight guests. On this June weekend, it welcomes visitors for self-guided tours. Visitors have open access to the three buildings and the grounds of this historic landmark, including the spectacular football-field-length rhododendron tunnel at a time when the flowers are likely to be in bloom. Many people bring a picnic and enjoy the views.
