Vermont’s Geographic Center
Randolph, Vermont
Along the third branch of Vermont’s White River, discover more than 240 miles of mapped trails for hiking, biking, backcountry skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. Downtown Randolph, located directly in the heart of Vermont as its geographic center, is full of historic railroad-era architecture and many Victorian-era homes. In town, the Playhouse Movie Theatre was the first purpose-built, single-screen movie theater in Vermont, and a few blocks up Main Street is the acoustically superb Chandler Center for the Arts, welcoming nationally known performers.
