Celebrate Sugaring Season
Vermont Maple Festival
Vermont sugar makers produce more pure maple syrup than any other state in the U.S. The Vermont Maple Festival celebrates the state’s signature crop, maple syrup. Enjoy a variety of activities, including sugarhouse tours, cooking and product contests, craft shows, antique displays, pancake breakfasts, numerous kids’ activities, and a vibrant parade, during this weekend-long festival in the city of St. Albans.

Summer Showcase
Quechee Balloon Festival
June 20-22, 2025
Vermont’s longest-running hot air balloon festival brightens the skies with colorful balloon launches. Enjoy live entertainment, craft vendors, and opportunities for birds-eye views in the scenic village of Quechee.
Summer Solstice Sessions
June 21, 2025
Ski or ride during the summer on preserved snow at Jay Peak Resort’s terrain park for a rare Vermont experience. This festive event also features live music and other outdoor activities, including skateboarding.
Lake Morey Summer Concert Series
Thursdays June 26-Aug. 21, 2025
Held in scenic Fairlee, this weekly concert series brings thousands of people together on the fairway green for live music, local food vendors, and Grammy-nominated and Grammy-winning artists to the lakeside community.
Best of Vermont Summer Festival
Aug. 23-24, 2025
In its fifth year, the Best of Vermont Summer Festival brings together more than 125 vendors, all-day music, antique tractors, classic cars, hot air balloons, a beer garden, artisans, children’s activities, and local chef specialties.

South End Art Hop
Sept. 5-7, 2025
Burlington’s three-day celebration brings together the best of the lively South End. In its 32nd year, this festival features hundreds of open studios, art exhibitions, evening lighting, food trucks, live music, and more.
Vermont Pumpkin Chuckin’ Festival
Sept. 28, 2025
At one of USA Today’s best fall festivals in the U.S., teams use DIY trebuchets to compete to catapult pumpkins along the length of a field. Sample delicious fall foods, browse artisan goods, or take in a giant robot demonstration, a volleyball tournament, and more.
Heirloom Apple Day
Oct. 12, 2025
Spend a fall weekend at this National Register-listed historic farmstead sampling heirloom apples and learning their histories. Educational talks, walking tours, pick-your-own, games, music, and displays add to the weekend.

Woodstock Wassail Weekend
Dec. 12-14, 2025
Twinkling lights and sleigh bells set the stage in Woodstock. Enjoy an artisan craft fair set in a covered bridge and take a ride on a horse-drawn carriage through the village, make ornaments, sing carols, and more.
First Night North
Dec. 31, 2025
Ring in 2026 with eight hours of musical and theatrical performances. Featuring 50 shows across a dozen venues, shuttle service, local food vendors, a dedicated LGBTQ+ arts space, and a dance party when the clock strikes midnight.
Curds & Curling
Feb. 2026
In Greensboro, enjoy cheese tasting, quirky curling competitions with a wheel of Jasper Hill cheese, live music, and local food in a festive atmosphere. Watch as the challenges unfold or try your own hand at curling.
