Galleries in Vermont

Vermont is a place where creativity is celebrated and inspiration can be found in all four seasons. There are almost as many art galleries in Vermont as there are towns, so visitors can encounter art and craft at every turn. Galleries feature a broad range of paintings, photography, and sculptures with different locations offering the state’s best work in ceramics, fiber, glass, metal, and wood. Discover what inspires Vermont artists, and you’ll likely find something that inspires you, too.

Open Studio Weekend

Annually on Memorial Day Weekend and in Early October

Discover art in downtowns or on byways and back roads during these celebratory weekends where artists open their studios to the public. Visiting an artist in their studio is different from browsing at a craft fair; the workspaces reflect their creative process, tools, equipment, and inspirations. See unique collection of handmade and local artwork and take part in special events.
