Easy Hikes

Make a family moment memorable, one step at a time.

There's a hiking trail for all skill and motivation levels. Hiking with your family can be one of the most memorable moments on your trip, especially if it's the first time someone makes it to a summit or scenic vista.

Vermont State Parks open in May and offer the outdoor enthusiast plenty of ways to enjoy the natural landscape. If you plan to hike prior to Memorial Day, be mindful of the mud and look for lower-elevation hardwood forests. Our scenic bike paths are also great alternatives in the spring.
